In the second part of the seminar Richard Wood and David Kandziora will provide observations, including case studies, on evolving PE holding periods, deal structures and deal multiples. They will also look at:

Speakers

Ross George is the Managing Director of Direct Capital, New Zealand’s leading private equity fund, founded in 1994. Direct Capital invests in Australian and New Zealand private companies, providing capital to grow and continue creating value, and has invested in over 70 companies in New Zealand and Australia.
Ross has been involved in the private equity and venture capital industry in Asia, Australia and New Zealand since 1987. He played a key role in establishing the private equity industry in New Zealand and was a driver behind the formation of the New Zealand Venture Capital and Private Equity Association. Ross has been involved as an investor and director in many private companies, and is currently a director of Bayleys Real Estate, Fishpond and Perpetual Guardian.

Richard Wood is the Managing Partner of Three Sixty Capital Partners Limited, a boutique investment bank specializing in mid-market M&A transactions in Australasia. Richard has had an extensive corporate finance background with previous roles including: Chief Financial Officer for an Australian private equity firm, NZ Manager for a boutique investment bank, Group Treasurer of a NZ listed electricity distribution company.
Richard has been responsible for several innovative and market leading transactions throughout his 30 year career including arranging, financing and structuring numerous M&A transactions, large and small, across various sectors.
Richard is a Chartered Accountant (CAANZ) and a Certified Treasury Professional (INFINZ).

David Kandziora is a Director at Three Sixty Capital Partners Limited with experience covering mergers and acquisitions, business valuation, business strategy, capital budgeting, financial modelling and analysis, deal structuring, and project management.
He has completed work for funds, management consultancies and financial advisory firms from the UK, US, EU, MENA and across Australasia. David has particular experience in the infrastructure, energy / utility and technology sectors and has worked with early-stage companies through to multinational conglomerates.
David is a CFA charter-holder, qualified business appraiser and enrolled barrister and solicitor of the High Court of NZ.
