Child Poverty Forum 2015
Description
As beautiful as Aotearoa is, things are far from perfect for many of our youngest citizens. Many kiwi children are growing up in hardship, experiencing a shortage of necessities and simple enjoyments in their day-to-day lives.
Yet God loves children. The christian story implores us to act compassionately and generously towards our little neighbours. But many of our little neighbours are struggling.
What does a christian response to child poverty in New Zealand look like? How does the biblical story shape our vision for our children? What sorts of solutions are christians creating in the community around them?
Child Poverty Forum 2015 is an opportunity to explore these questions. Come hear from experts, reflect theologically, build friendships, and be inspired by amazing local change-makers. An open event for anyone who desires to connect the gospel with children in need.
