This unique event is presented by We Read Auckland and the Young Writers Society, a teen writing group based at Central Library. Librarian Ai Shimazu will lead an interview online with Chloe Gong. The library will host a live watch party of this event at Ellen Melville Centre with food, book giveaways, and a chance to submit questions in real-time to Chloe. Afterwards, writing coach and screenwriter Kathryn Burnett will lead a special guided writing workshop. We welcome writers of all levels- bring some of your own writing if you want some help and new ideas!

About the Author:
NZ author Chloe Gong is still smashing YA bestseller lists with 'These Violent Delights' and the sequel 'Our Violent Ends', an imaginative retelling of Romeo & Juliet set in 1920s Shanghai.
