The final CMDT networking session of the year is at Epic Centre, Tuesday 6th of December from 5pm. Come celebrate the end of the year with us and explore new partnering opportunities in the US and with the Medical Research Commercialisation Fund (MRCF) run out of Australia.
Our guest speakers for the evening are:
Hamish Clark is Senior Vice President of Noel Group Inc, a ‘smart capital’ private equity firm based in Houston, Texas. He will share the exciting opportunities for MedTech companies interested in entering the US market via Noel Group's newly created Houston Launch Pad. Hamish is a serial technology entrepreneur who is building a portfolio of ventures in NZ and the US. He is a strong advocate for disruptive innovation via the collaborative capabilities of NZ.
Duncan Mackintosh joined Brandon Capital Partners as an Investment Manager in May 2016. He will provide an overview of the MRCF, a $200m fund which provides dedicated investment funding to support the commercialisation of early-stage medical research discoveries. Prior to this, Duncan was the Chief Executive of WaikatoLink Ltd. He has also led a range of initiatives including the development of seed funds, an international internship programme, and collaborations, including KiwiNet.
This is a great opportunity to hear about new investment and growth opportunities, and to network with your colleagues in the MedTech sector.
We hope you can make it!
