Description

This course covers components of the CORE Advanced curriculum tailored to team based resuscitation training for GP practices and A and M Clinics. Designed for those who are unable to undertake full CORE certification.

Modules assessed are:

Adult Collapse management and use of the AED

Child Collapse management and choking guidelines

Airway Management and use of advanced airway adjuncts

Manual Defibrillation

We also discuss arrhythmia management and using simulation training cover team dynamics, communication and other facets of human factors coaching.

This course meets the RNZCGP criteria for NZRC CORE Advanced Skills resuscitation training for Accident and Medical centres. Course is endorsed by the RNZCGP for 8 CME credits
