Event description
Cocktails and portfolios is a workshop for those looking for smarter ways to invest for the future.

About this Event

Cocktails and Portfolios is an event in Auckland for professionals, who are looking to further their investment knowledge.

What are you missing out on by not investing better? Are you wanting to take more action but are unsure about the market?

This months event is based on Property Investing vs Cryptocurrency. Which is themed on the old vs new. Property is the traditional kiwi way of investing, the do-ups, the tenants and capital gains. Crypto is the new complex ether of DeFi, coin wallets, NFT's, staking, faster transactions, deflationary principals, liquidity tokens, automation and bots.

We debate. Long-term vs short term, strategies and options, and you will come away knowing the basics of how to get a second home, or to set up a coin wallet.

Additionally, Webbs Auction house are hosting an art gallery exhibition of special one-off collection art pieces which can not only create a beautiful home but also art can be an appreciating asset, if you know what to look for.

Our cocktails this month are:

Scapegrace Gin + Vodka, expect citrus and a play on old school vs new school.

As much as we want to grow your worth, the fulfilment in giving is one of the best feelings we can provide you, and for learning how to grow with us, we will give $5 from each ticket to a charity on the night.

SPEAKERS

The great debate:

Ed McKnight - Property Investor, economist, and host of The Property Academy Podcast which has received over #1million downloads.

He talk whether property investing is still a viable solution with all the recent law changes. We hear case studies of investors who are attempting to make it work and what plans they have now, and the tips and tricks being considered to improve your investing situation.

Billy Weir - founder of Crypto Advisor. Billy is a coach in crypto trends and market movement, who also ensures that his clients utilise his proprietary technology that automates the trading process, buying at lows, selling at highs.

He speaks on crypto currency, non-fungible tokens. What are they? Will they continue to matter? How can we take advantage of them?

Guillaume Dehan - ex Nikko Asset Management and now founder of Fund the Future, a technology company solving a $250 million problem. $5 from every ticket sold will go towards a chosen charity of the night, and you can choose to donate your tax rebates.

We are also looking for audience members to join us in a panel. What's your experience? If you are interested to be involved email anita@junoinvesting.co.nz.

Come along and enjoy a night full of art, delicious cocktails, wisdom and advice on investing as remember the best investing is done when you have the most time ahead of you.

Thank you to Webbs and ScapeGrace. By signing up to this event we may communicate with you further, and with our partners. As per any privacy, if you do not wish to receive any further comms let us know on anita@junoinvesting.co.nz , your information will not be shared with any other parties outside of this and you can unsubscribe at any time.
