Join our monthly Coffee Catchup with these awesome speakers!

About this event

Join us at this Coffee & Jam event to hear from three talented speakers who will share their experience and knowledge in transport innovation!

First, you'll hear from Lee Mckenzie. Lee is the Manager of Future Transport at Waka Kotahi. She has been working in transport for most of her career after making the transition from law. Lee is passionate about the potential of technology and data to drive change in the transport sector and believes leveraging these tools can help us address challenges, including climate change and road safety outcomes. Hoe ki angitū is an innovation fund recently launched by Waka Kotahi. It is particularly exciting to Lee because of its potential to enable collaboration between private and public sectors, something she has long been passionate about.

Lee will be talking about Hoe ki angitū, the Waka Kotahi Innovation Fund that has been set up to support the private sector to develop and accelerate innovative solutions that will help to solve some of New Zealands biggest transport challenges.

Next up, you’ll hear from Aidan Smith & Connor Read from Shutl. Shutl is a startup changing the world’s urban journey habits for good. With their electric bike subscription, members can easily commute around their city while benefiting from included maintenance and on-demand repairs. Connor and Aidan share a passion for technology development and doing good for our community. Shutl was born to use light electric vehicle technology to create a meaningful impact on the way our cities move.

Doesn't that sound awesome? Register now to save your seat!
