Welcome to the event Community Adaptation in Canterbury (NZ): What, Why, How? happening at Te Waka Aroha St Faiths (The Stone Church) on July 31, 2025 at 7:30 PM (Pacific/Auckland).

We have speakers from communities and councils sharing experiences, responses and approaches currently ongoing in Canterbury. This goes from big-picture strategy through to nuts-and-bolts 'this is what we did' or 'this is how it felt' type stuff.

Evening comprises of short 15 minute presentations, hot chocolate and then a Q&A session.

It's going to be an engaging evening filled with insights, ideas, and opportunities.

We exist to expedite adaptation in the NZ economy to reduce the period and extent of economic, social and environmental damage and disorder of our adaptation journey. We achieve this by facilitating education and communication with and between Communities, Businesses and Government(s), providing leadership, undertaking research and reporting the results.
