Community freshwater monitoring day at Pukaha Mount Bruce

Description
Want to give Citizen Science a go? A meeting of the Manawatu Citizen Science Working Group will be held at Pukaha Mount Bruce on Wednesday, 18 October 2017, where you will observe and try out freshwater monitoring using a bunch of tools including NIWA's Stream Health Monitoring and Assessment Kit.
The bus will depart from Railway Reserve, Palmerston North at 9:30am and arrive back at approximately 5pm.
Other members of the community are very welcome to join this bus trip. Seats are limited so you are encouraged to register early.

Things you will need to bring:

All weather attire including a good rain jacket

Suitable rough track footwear, (preferably long gumboots!)

Water and sunhat
