Session 1: Building Act Review - update

With all the chatter about the MBIE review of the Building Act, and looking at some of the myths and hopes for what changes are proposed verses the realities of issues in the field, this session will look at the proposed changes, and open a discussion on what actions you can take personally to work with confidence in a broken system.

Michael regularly advises clients in disputes involving insurance, professional negligence, contract, employment and construction issues. He provides pragmatic advice and represent clients in all judicial forums on a wide range of issues.

Session 3: Fire evacuation rules

These rules changed in 2018 and are rolling out nationwide.

Session 4: Health and safety audits

Workplace safety laws and PCBU responsibilities are well embedded now. However there seems to be confusion as to how where health and safety stops and building renovations end.

Joanna Lowery

Joanna Lowrey is the co-owner of Bluetrack Training with her husband and has a passion to translate complexity into simple concepts.
