With all the chatter about the MBIE review of the Building Act, and looking at some of the myths and hopes for what changes are proposed verses the realities of issues in the field, this session will look at the proposed changes, and open a discussion on what actions you can take personally to work with confidence in a broken system.

Session 4: Health and safety audits
Workplace safety laws and PCBU responsibilities are well embedded now. However there seems to be confusion as to how where health and safety stops and building renovations end.
