SESSION TWO - Engagement

SPEAKERS

Angela Meyer - Double Demin

At the heart of all her work is a desire to empower women and change the status quo. Angela Meyer's consultancy skills have seen her work in London, Melbourne and Tokyo.

Double Demin Co-Founder and Co-director Angela has a proven track record of developing campaigns and strategies that put their Gender Intelligence insights into action.

Angela has created an extensive range of successful commercial, social and political campaigns in New Zealand and internationally. She has twice been nominated for the Women of Influence Awards (2016 and 2018).

Katie Brown - Social Good

Katie is a digital native and strategic communicator specialising in social media and digital channels.

Her experience has always been in digital channels with a career starting at Trade Me. Katie then worked for a web design agency creating websites and apps, then at ACC created NZ Government’s first full-service social media team.

Katie now runs her own contracting business Social Good. Her company creates great digital communication, wherever her clients need to be. They believe in doing work that makes the world a better place. Protecting our planet and caring for its people.

Most recently, Katie led the digital communications for the Government response to COVID-19 for New Zealand. This involved managing all of the social media channels, delivering the Unite against COVID-19 campaign on these channels and running a virtual team of people who walked New Zealand through lockdown.
