Consequence Game 4 - The Man Who Sold the World

Howdy, pardners! We’re pleased to invite you to Consequence - The Man Who Sold the World, the 4th episode of the Consequence LARP campaign.

The game will take place Friday 3 October - Sunday 5 October 2025 at Brookfield Outdoor Education Centre, Wainuiomata, Wellington.

It’s late November, 1870 -  5 months since the Rift opened - but at a price. Edison made a takeover attempt with his Foundry but was pushed back. An uneasy ceasefire has endured, and the Stag has been trapped.

Messages for help were sent via telegraph and dreams, but it’s not known when (or if) that help might arrive. Supplies are getting low, and decisions will need to be made about how to resolve this.

Strangely, not long after the ceasefire, the Locals started to become more scarce. Now it appears they have all vanished - except for the ones who are out for blood. They remain a threat to the residents of Consequence and seem to be getting more bold.

Wild animals seem to have gone to ground as well. It started with the realisation that no one had seen butterflies for a while, but then hunters started reporting on scarcity of rabbits and deer. Birdsong is increasingly rare to hear, and even domesticated animals appear restless.  

There’s a eerie feeling, almost like Consequence itself is holding its breath. Meanwhile, the residents of the town have to scratch a living while planning their next moves and preparing for whatever challenge they might face next.

Tickets go on sale June 6 at 7pm through Eventbrite. As mentioned prior to game 3, we are not accepting new PCs for game 4. But if you attended any of the past Consequence events as a player, you can purchase a ticket to this event. If you have any questions about this please get in touch! Crew are always welcome and we have unlimited crew spaces available. Whether it's your first time LARPing,  or you're a seasoned veteran. We have plenty of enticing roles and experiences for you to enjoy.

These prices are inclusive of Eventbrite fees (so this is the total you will pay).
