Consumer law is perhaps the most common area of law that most people interact with. From the Consumer Guarantees Act to the Fair Trading Act, learn the basic rights and rules relating to the sales of goods and services.
What We'll Be Doing
Rights & Rules are short one hour seminars on everyday legal topics. The format of the seminar is dependent the speaker. Most seminars are relatively informal and allow for attendee questions.
Who Is It For
Rights & Rules seminars are aimed at community and social service workers, but open to anyone. The aim is to inform these workers to better assist their clients. Registration is appreciated.
What to Bring
Pen and paper is recommended.
You are welcome to bring your lunch. Tea and coffee are provided.
