NZ Sign Language Course – Beginner 1 (Tuesday Morning atAuckland Deaf Society, Three Kings)

Ready to start your NZSL journey? Join us at the Auckland Deaf Society for a fun and welcoming 15-week in-person NZ Sign Language (NZSL) Beginner 1 course. Classes are held on Tuesday Morning, 10am till 12 midday, with a 2-week break in the middle to refresh and recharge.

Taught by experienced and friendly NZSL tutor Barry Kirkland, this course is perfect for absolute beginners or those looking to build a solid foundation in NZSL from the ground up.

Each week you'll learn practical signs, everyday communication, and Deaf culture in a relaxed, supportive environment. Whether you're learning for work, family, or personal interest, this is a great place to begin.

Course Facts Adults Course – Minimum age is 16 years. * Special circumstances (e.g. Children of Deaf Adults – CODA) may be considered with prior arrangement.
