Become confident in assessing craniofacial patterns and the implications.

Dr's Sandy Clark and Samantha Haitsma,experienced Craniopath Chiropractors will present a fascinating seminar on craniofacial structure and function from embryo to adulthood.
They will delve into

  • Craniofacial structure and function

  • Cranial neurology and how it affects tongue and face responses

  • Primitive reflexes in relation to facial development, feeding, speech,

  • Cranial and tongue tie assessment, correction, intervention

  • Options and co-management

A fabulous multidisciplinary experience with great opportunities to learn from each other and have your mind expanded. Please note that the morning session from 10am-1pm is ideal for all health professionals. The afternoon session is more practical and chiropractic focused.

Dr Sandy Clark. After 10 years of postgraduate study in chiropractic paediatrics, clinical neurology and Chiropractic adjusting techniques, Dr Clark achieved an International certification in Craniopathy (the study, diagnosis and treatment of cranial and cranial nerve faults affecting the health and well-being of an individual).

Dr Clark loves working with patients and lecturing nationally and internationally on specific aspects of adjusting for these cranial faults. He is continually looking for a greater understanding of the relationship of cranial reflex patterns and their ongoing effect on the health of an individual. He likes agile minds and curly questions.

Dr Samantha Haitsma is a passionate Waiuku based chiropractor with a wealth of experience and postgraduate study in the field of tethered tissue, craniodontics, oromyofacial assesment and treatment. Dr Haitsma is one of the few Internationally Certified Craniopaths in NZ.

Dr Haitsma, mother of 3, has personal experience with tongue tie from breastfeeding her own little people. She is intimate with craniofacial structure and functional issues and understands the frustrations and need for improved multidisciplinary communication and co-management. Dr Haitsma delivers a feast of information for all professions.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Is any food provided?

A buffet lunch is available from 1-2pm, tea and coffee on arrival and afternoon mini break.

Yes - but please let us know before the day!

When are the breaks?

We will start at 10am and have lunch at 1pm, a stretchy break will be somewhere in between. The afternoon session starts at 2pm-5pm with another stretchy break and coffee!
