About the workshop

Learn the basics of how to create digital 3D shapes and models in this 1 hour remote workshop. Using CAD you can create animal figures, clothing accessories, castles (miniature of course), functional tools for around the house and much more! We will be going through TinkerCAD to design and prepare your own 3D model that you can then 3D print out in Unleash Space!

This is a remote workshop. please ensure you have:

1. A computer & internet connection

2. Zoom installed:

- Meeting IDs will be sent via a calendar invite once you have registered for the workshop.

Zoom Waiting Room:

All attendees will be put into a Zoom Waiting Room before being admitted into the workshop.

If you are on the waitlist, you will be allowed into the workshop if a participant is unable to join within 10 minutes of the workshop commencing.

After 10 minutes, the waiting room will be closed and you will need to book another workshop.

Fun, entry-level create and make workshops are designed for the beginner or those looking to get creative in an enjoyable, interactive environment. Learn about the technology and equipment by doing a project. Turn up, have a great time, and leave with new skills, a creation of your own making and some new friends.

Who can attend?

Open to all students and staff at the University of Auckland.

By registering for this event/workshop you grant the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship full rights to use the images from any photography/video footage for publicity and education purposes.
