The Mental Health Foundation, in partnership with West Coast Primary Health Organisation, is pleased to bring you free introductory workshop to support systems change towards improved workplace wellbeing.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: Creating Positive Environments & Enhancing Mental Wellbeing Organisations are only as strong as their people, and the culture of an organisation has a significant impact on the wellbeing of employees. A positive workplace culture leads to increased productivity, better employee morale and the ability to retain high quality employees.

This workshop will provide practical information and tips to help enhance and maintain wellbeing at individual, team, and organisational levels, with a focus on creating organisational/systems change towards a psychologically healthy organisation and culture.

In this workshop, you’ll gain an understanding of:

• What is mental health and wellbeing and the things that help people flourish

• Why it’s important to think about wellbeing at work for both individuals and for the organisation

• How to create a positive work environment for mental wellbeing in the workplace

•The Five Ways to Wellbeing and how these can improve mental wellbeing and create a positive work environment (and even at home with your whānau)

You will gain the knowledge and confidence to frame and explore the issues within your workplace, plus access to a comprehensive handbook, slides and notes, to enable you to use the workshop activities in your own organisation, or others you support.
