Frequently asked questions

How do I get there?

Full directions will be provided once you are ticketed.

Do I have to stay for the viewing?

No, leave as soon as you need to.

Will it get cold?

Once the sun sets it will get cold. Suggest you wrap up well.

Will Syd Cretney be attending?

Only in spirit! But his family will be there.

Can I bring my telescope?

Yes, please do! There's a concrete viewing platform where we set up our Dobbies.

Can I bring my camera?

You bet. New Moon is on 20 September, so the early part of the evening will provide good seeing (weather permitting, of course).

What if it's wet?

We have a marquee. Bring an umbrella.
