CrossFit Is For Everyone!
In order to ensure CrossFit is a safe and effective strength & conditioning programme, it is essential that everyone who trains with us at CrossFit East Auckland has a solid knowledge and practical foundation of the basic movements used in CrossFit workouts.
The primary purpose of our “Beginners' On-Ramp” course is to teach you the foundation movements of CrossFit via expert coaching, scaling to your level of fitness and ability. Following the technical portion of each session, we then test your knowledge by taking you through a fun and challenging mini-workout.
Over 8 sessions our experienced and motivating coaches will help increase your fitness and knowledge step by step, in a safe and supportive enironment, instilling in you the confidence and improving your base fitness to then jump into any of our main classes once you graduate.
Our Beginners' On-Ramp course is 8 sessions in total and starts the first full week of each month, at each of our 2 locations:
Howick: Wed / Fri 7-8pm
Ellerslie: Tue / Thu 7-8pm
If you can’t make the On-Ramp time slots but really want to join or you have a pre-existing injury identified in our comprehensive screening, or just prefer to learn at your own pace, we also offer private sessions as an alternative to the On-Ramp course.
