The choir's mid-year concert, featuring some of the region's best musical talent, will showcase an enormous variety of Christian musical genres. From Haydn to hip-hop, hymns to film music, and gospel to sea shanties, Crossroads promises to be a concert with something for everyone on the highly relatable themes of suffering, faith, choice and hope.
The choir's principal director is well-known musical conductor, performer and teacher, Lisbe Jooste. Highly acclaimed local pianist/conductor Roger McLean will be accompanying the choir and small group/solo performances. We will also be joined by local rapper "Theophilus".

Frequently asked questions

Will there be parking for this event?

Yes, the Whangarei Central Baptist parking lot on the corner of Bank St and Wolfe St (entrance on Wolfe) will be made available for this event. There is also street parking near the church.

Will tickets also be available at the door?

Yes, tickets will also be sold at the door from 4:00 onwards. If you are unable to acquire your preferred ticket type (e.g. student) here, please purchase it at the door. Please note group tickets (for groups of 5+) will only be available at the door.

Will there be an intermission for this concert?

Yes, there will be an intermission at the mid-way point of the performance. Coffee and tea will be served in the foyer during this time.
