Event description
This course will help you develop tools & practices to increase your resilience to stress & anxiety, as well as release built up tension.

About this event

CULTIVATING CALM is an 8-week Yin Yoga course for every body. No matter your previous experience, your mental state, how flexible you are, this course is suited for all abilities and ages.

Do you struggle to 'switch off' at the end of the day?

Do you find it challenging to be still, relaxed and mindful of what is happening in your body?

Do you find yourself lost in thoughts, which lead to unpleasant feelings or emotions?

Do not feel alone. In our modern lives, the inability to relax is becoming increasingly common. Living with stress has a huge amount of physical and emotional implications.

In this course, you will practice:

⭐ A variety of grounding, restoring Yin yoga sequences

⭐ Meditation & mindfulness techniques

⭐ Powerful breath techniques

Yin Yoga is a simple, meditative practice to restore balance and harmony. Yin Yoga targets the deeper, fascial layers of tissue in the body, helping to remove energetic blockages and deeply stored tension.

Sophie Walton will be guiding you through this relaxation course. She is an internationally qualified yoga instructor with over 300 hours of training. She specialises in Yin, Hatha & Ashtanga yoga. She is also a trained Hypnotherapist (Your Life Live it) & 'Movingness' teacher (Peter Appel).
