A little about my workshops!
My workshops are a safe space for everyone wherein I aim to provide an environment where you can feel comfortable and unleash the inner dancer in yourself. Through my workshops, I aim to provide you with some learning, lots of fun, exercise and a chance to meet like minded individuals. My workshops are beginner friendly and open to everyone - kids, adults, dancers, non-dancers - literally everyone!I am a trained Kathak and Contemporary dancer and continue my contemporary training under the trainers of Terence Lewis. I specialize in Lyrical Contemporary as my dance niche and style, and will aim to impart some of my learnings with you in these workshops, as applicable.In each workshop, I aim to teach about 40 seconds to 1 minute piece of choreography, incorporating a blend of basic technique and fun choreography steps. The last 30mins of the workshop is for you to finesse the choreography and shoot some videos.My ultimate goal is to help you build confidence and provide you with a safe space, where there is no pressure and where you can be yourself and leave feeling like you have learnt something - more importantly leave feeling good!
