"Highly recommend."

"Inspiring."

"An amazing experience."

"One 'aha moment' after the other."

Courageous leadership has never been more vital than it is now.

In response to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, we have shifted our already-scheduled Dare to Lead™ programmes to be delivered virtually via Zoom.
In this version of the programme, the Dare to Lead™ curriculum will be delivered over eight sessions, running four times per week for two weeks.
To get maximum value from this programme, you'll need to participate in all eight sessions. If you do not feel you received sufficient value after participating in all eight sessions, you are welcome to attend a future, in-person programme free of charge.

Session times (NZST):

  • Session 1: Tuesday, 14 July 2020, 9:00-11:00am
  • Session 2: Wednesday, 15 July 2020, 9:00-11:00am
  • Session 3: Thursday, 16 July 2020, 9:00-11:00am
  • Session 4: Friday, 17 July 2020, 9:00-11:00am
  • Session 5: Monday, 20 July 2020, 9:00-11:00am
  • Session 6: Tuesday, 21 July 2020, 9:00-11:00am
  • Session 7: Wednesday, 22 July 2020, 9:00-11:00am
  • Session 8: Thursday, 23 July 2020, 9:00-11:00am

In addition to the new formats, we are also offering additional benefits to anyone participating in an online programme:
  • Office hours: Kaila will be holding office hours once per month for the remainder of the year, in which you can hop on Zoom and ask any questions or get clarity on concepts.
  • Recorded sessions: Because we're running the programme on Zoom, sessions will be recorded and made available to you, so you can go back over anything you missed or want to cover again.
  • Slack group community: You will be added to the Boma NZ Alumni Slack group on the first day of your programme, so you can connect and discuss concepts with previous Dare to Lead™ attendees. If you need any support downloading and setting up Slack, just let us know.

Note: Scholarships, non-profit and educator pricing available -- please email nz@boma.global to request.

Who we are is how we lead

When the Dare to Lead™ research team asked senior executives around the world about the most important thing we can be cultivating, one answer stood above the rest: "We need braver leaders."

We need leaders who know how to have courageous conversations.

We need leaders who are not silent about difficult things.

We need leaders who are ready and willing to show up with their whole hearts.

Many of the executives they spoke to had also made the assumption that people either have these characteristics or they don't—but that's not true.

Through their research, the Dare to Lead™ team discovered a profound truth: courageous leadership consists of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable and observable.

The Dare to Lead™ programme is your chance to learn these skills and put them into practice.

How would your organisation change if you started having braver and fuller conversations with each other?

Discover what organisations like Melinda Gates Foundation, IBM, Disney, Google, Shell and the US Military have experienced through scaling courage as an organisational competency.
