Background
Join us for this webishop titled Determinants and Inequities in Health in 2025 – where are we going as Health Promoters and what differences can we make?
This webishop will look at the range of determinants, health inequities, terminology, changes post covid, system thinking and importantly what we as health promoters can/should be doing.
This webishop is being delivered by Megan Tunks, an experienced Public Health Thought Leader who has held a range of roles within Health Promotion, and Public Health. More recently Megan held a role of Chief Advisor Health Promotion in the National Public Health Service in 2023 and 2024.
Megan will also be joined by an invited guest Mapihi Raharuhi (for one part of the workshop), who has a range of experience in System thinking, Māori & Community development to share her insights.
There will be an interactive activity during the session. A short survey will be sent to participants once enrolled, in order to tailor aspects to the interests and realities of participants.
