Event description
the exciting work that is happening at AgResearch to develop the potential of digital systems in food production systems

About this event

Farm systems and their management are projected to radically change over the next 10 years, in part due to the development of new technologies including improved sensor capability, improved data connectivity and computer-based artificial intelligence (AI) decision support and self-learning. These systems are already being integrated into many on-farm machines and are likely to have an increasing impact on ag systems.

AgResearch are working on a project which develops strategic positioning of the science and digital agricultural technologies to provide solutions for pastoral agriculture.

Join us to hear from AgResearch’s Seth Laurenson and Remy Lasseur as they shares the exciting work that is happening at AgResearch to develop thought leadership and stimulate thinking and discussion about the role and the potential of digital systems in food production systems.

The B.linc VIBE event series is an opportunity to hear from one of the wider Lincoln precinct companies about their business and to touch base, reconnect and build connections across the precinct.

At B.linc, we are passionate about innovation, and collaboration within New Zealand Aotearoa’s food and fibre sector.

Our role is to be a neutral connector, helping facilitate and grow an exponential innovation ecosystem in agriculture, food and technology. By connecting across industry, science, and agriculture we develop innovation for the future. We work with leading organisations, start-ups, researchers, growers and universities, to address the topical challenges facing the food and fibre sector.

We believe that collaborating is the start of creating and doing great things. We encourage you to get involved, to join forces to deliver collective impact.
