Event description

Description

Considering the growing focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Healthcare, the challenges that its successful adoption presents, and its ever-increasing potential in Psychiatry particularly, offering decision-making support tools and services available to support clinicians and patients respectively, we are keen to understand to what extent AI has been applied in Psychiatry, who would benefit (and why) and the role that technology plays for all stakeholders more broadly, in Healthcare.

The presenter, Senior Psychiatrist Dr Richard Tranter from NMDHB, will also discuss opportunities that this field of engineering and technology presents to aspiring young professionals with some top tips on how to get involved, as well as why it is important for engineers to collaborate with clinicians and other professionals as well.
