With the generous support of the Rei Foundation, Docs4Schools offers free in-theatre screenings during Doc Edge Festival in May 2016 for school students: year 5-13.
The documentaries cover a wide range of themes and have been carefully selected to support the New Zealand school curriculum. Documentaries inspire students to learn more about how people live around the world, and gain empathy for the issues they face. Education resource packs, including curriculum links for each film are available.
Please note that Docs4Schools screenings are only available for schools!

Filmed over 211 shoot days in nine countries and five continents over four years, This Changes Everything takes a different look at the vast challenge of climate change. Inspired by Naomi Klein’s international non-fiction bestseller This Changes Everything, the film presents seven powerful portraits of communities on the front lines, from Montana’s Powder River Basin to the Alberta Tar Sands, from the coast of South India to Beijing and beyond. The film aims to empower people to take action, to work together to address the greatest challenge of our time.
