Description

Doctoral Morning Tea

The examination process and life after the doctorate

All new and current doctoral candidates at the University of Auckland are invited to the Doctoral Morning Tea to meet and mingle with other doctoral candidates in a relaxed environment. Nibble on some tasty treats, discover useful information and listen to informative guest speakers presenting on the topics you care about.

You've spent three or more years working on your research, and you're getting ready to submit your thesis. But what actually happens during the completion process? How long does it take? And where do you go from there? This month, our panel will share their real-life experiences of completing their doctorates - from initial submission and examination to life beyond it all. Come along for cakes, conversation and the opportunity to ask any questions you've been storing up.

We'll have colleagues from the School of Graduate Studies Operations team on-hand to answer any general questions you may have about the process. Questions relating to your specific circumstances will not be addressed.

On behalf of the School of Graduate Studies, PGSA and AUSA Advocacy, thank you for supporting these events and we look forward to meeting you.
