The Garden Ramble is a one-day event offering rare access to a curated collection of private gardens in Auckland's Eastern Bays. From lush landscapes to clever planting ideas, each garden tells its own story, and this is your chance to explore, be inspired, and support a great cause.

What is the Garden Ramble? The Garden Ramble is a self-guided tour through a handpicked selection of private gardens, opened to the public for one day only. Each garden reflects the creativity and passion of its owner, showcasing thoughtful design, planting ideas, and a deep love for the land.

Whether you're a seasoned gardener, a plant lover, or simply someone who enjoys beautiful spaces, the Garden Ramble offers a relaxed, inspiring day out, with all proceeds supporting Dove Hospice and its vital community care.

• Entry to all participating private gardens: explore a curated selection of beautiful and diverse gardens, opened exclusively for the Garden Ramble.
• Garden Guide: includes a map, garden descriptions, and accessibility information.
• Meet the Gardeners: expert designers from Humphreys Landscaping will be on hand to chat, answer questions, and share insights on thoughtful garden design.
• Support a Great Cause: all proceeds go to Dove Hospice & Wellness, helping provide compassionate care and support in your community.

Please note:

• An event map will be email to attendees before the event begins.
• The Garden Ramble will proceed rain or shine – please dress appropriately for the weather.
• For safety reasons and out of respect for the garden environments, this event is best enjoyed by adults. We kindly ask that children under 16 do not attend.
• While every effort is made to ensure safe access, participation is at your own risk.
• Accessibility: the gardens featured in the ramble are not wheelchair accessible. Many include steps, gravel paths, and uneven terrain that may be difficult to navigate for those with mobility challenges.
