Event Details

Having a baby is one of the biggest life changes we will go through. Join Dr Julie on her Let’s Talk Postpartum Tour for a frank, realistic and highly informative seminar on nourishing yourself during this time.

We don’t serve women by maintaining a cone of silence around the realities of motherhood. That’s why I shared my own struggles in My Real Postpartum Body, a personal and vulnerable blog post that went viral in 2015, making headlines around the world and uniting a community of mothers. Five years later having just had my third son I am back to empower you with knowledge and practical tips on nourishing ourselves during the postpartum period with a good dose of the raw reality too.

Research shows that women who are well prepared for “life after birth” are less likely to experience overwhelm, depression and anxiety. And more likely to give themselves and their family the love they deserve.

To me, this is a conversation worth having.

So please join me for a fun and informative seminar on the postpartum period - postpartum is for life!

How the morning will go:

9-9.30am: Introduction - A welcome and Dr Julie sharing how the first three months with baby number 3 have been.

9.30-10am: Physical Checks Demo: One of Dr Julie's Mum Squad trainers demonstrating some key physical postnatal checks to do (this will be done on Dr Julie as a demo).

10am-11am: Food Chat - Dr Julie will talk about nutrition to help your recovery, the relationship between sugar, hormones, and fat loss and the impact of sleep deprivation on overall wellbeing with a food demo and very practical tips.

Current members of Dr Julie's Mum Squad will have a private session during this time (10-11) with our Mum Squad trainers to discuss in more detail their ongoing postpartum recovery and plan.

11-11.30 Q and A - with both Dr Julie and her Mum Squad Crew and wrap up.

Tea and coffee provided and some food samples from the demo are provided and there will be event only specials on all of Dr Julie's books and products!

Tickets are limited due to venue size so don't miss out - save with a double ticket!
