Drawing Between
Date and time
Join the NZIA Graduate + Emerging Practitioner Committee for an evening of experimental drawing and mark making.
About this event
Join the NZIA Graduate + Emerging Practitioner Committee for an evening of experimental drawing and mark making led by Marian Macken and Ashleigh Smith. Think big paper and messy tools, conversations and snacks, and drawing the spaces between.
Architectural drawing is primarily seen as generating and documenting future buildings. This casts drawings in the role of miniature versions of as-yet-unbuilt space. An alternative to this explores the terrain of performative drawing practices – in space and in time – and considers the ways in which bodies and drawings interact.
All you need to do is bring yourself — all materials supplied.
Places are limited to 50 people so please make sure you can come before you respond to the invitation. If you are unable to attend, please inform us so we can pass along your spot to another person.
This event is supported by the NZIA - Auckland Branch.
