About this event

The workshop is on 25 June 2019 from 9:00am to 3:00pm

By participating in this workshop, you will:

• have opportunities to discuss your understanding and use of Our Code | Ngā Tikanga Matatika

• have opportunities to discuss your understanding and use of Our Standards | Ngā Paerewa

• be introduced to Tapasā: Cultural competencies for teachers of Pacific learners

• share experiences from your learner focused appraisal (e.g. teaching and learning approach, goal-based or inquiry focused)

• extend knowledge of effective use of observation and conversation in appraisal

You are encouraged to bring the following if you have them available:

• Our Code, Our Standards

• Tapasā: Cultural competencies framework for teachers of Pacific learners

• Your school/service Quality Practice Template (if you have begun or completed any work on this)

• A copy of any goal, inquiry or standards focused work you are doing as part of your appraisal

Tea and coffee will be served on arrival. Morning tea and lunch will also be served. We will contact you about dietary requirements.
