Organiser

EdTechNZ

The Education Technology Association of New Zealand (EdTechNZ) is the voice of education technology in New Zealand.  It is a community of education technology companies, organisations and educators.

Education provides the foundation for New Zealand's economic and social growth.  Our members share a passion for the potential that education technology can bring for New Zealand’s prosperity.

Our key purpose is to drive creative use of technology in education, inside and outside the classroom, to facilitate a world class education system for all New Zealanders and to showcase New Zealand education technology to the world.

EdTechNZ is the voice of education technology in New Zealand, supporting the growth of the sector.  We provide an independent platform for bringing together those with a shared interest in education technology, across industry and government.  The EdTechNZ Executive Council provides leadership and governance of the organisation.  EdTechNZ was launched in 2017, by NZTech.

Join the EdTechNZ community and gain the benefits of being part of this focused group.  As a purpose driven not for profit association, EdTechNZ relies on membership fees to operate.  Membership is open to organisations (companies, institutions, schools and startups) and education professionals.

EdTechNZ delivers direct value for members through:

Connection

  • bring together the community of education technology service providers, innovators, government agencies, educators, training organisations and investors.
  • regular EdTechNZ Connect events.
  • connection to the greater NZTech community.

Promotion

  • promoting the opportunities and challenges raised by education technology to increase understanding of the impact of technology on education in New Zealand.
  • help promote New Zealand education technology products to the world.

Advancement

  • help develop regulation (advocacy), talent (attraction and development), collaboration (innovation and growth) and export.
  • provide thought leadership for the education technology sector.
