About this event

Join us on our new programme Elevating Group Development and build vertical leadership development into your group facilitation.

  • Deep dive into your own strengths, challenges, and aspirations in leading and facilitating groups
  • Explore the principles of great group experiences, build your resources toolkit, and learn from the experience of others
  • Design, deliver and reflect on a group experience project

What's the experience?

The pilot programme is run over 4 weeks, with a follow-up which gives you the opportunity to embed and reflect on your learnings. It’s run in a peer group of 16 where you’ll join and access

  • 4 virtual workshops (dates/times shown are NZST)

Wednesday 31st August: 10.00am – 12.00pm

Wednesday 7th September: 10.00am – 12.00pm

Wednesday 14th September: 10.00am – 2.00pm

Wednesday 19th October: 9.30am – 11.00am

  • 4 self-directed workouts
  • Your chosen group experience project
  • Wrap around support and inspiration from a virtual coach and your peer group on Adeption.
  • Ongoing connection and continuous learning through the alumni community and anytime self-directed workouts.

What you'll get out of it

Graduates of the Elevating Group Development programme can expect to build a personalised toolkit of knowledge, tools, and strategies to lift their leading and facilitating experiences. Whether you would like to gain increased confidence and presence, create stronger engagement or better leverage the wisdom of the group, the programme is designed to bring out the best in you and inspire real-world action and tangible results.

Some important criteria!

To get the most out of the programme, and set yourself up for success, you should

  • Have at least one group experience event you’ll lead around 6 weeks from the program start date.
  • Be prepared to engage with all stages of the programme. We estimate the time commitment, outside of virtual workshops to be 1-2 hours per week.
  • Have the support structures you need around you to be able to participate fully in the program and implement your insights
