Emotion Processing Workshop
Event Information
About this Event
How are you feeling after the turbulence of 2020?
Did you ride the emotional rollercoaster as we faced more and more uncertainty?
Did all that time in your own company encourage you to face the parts of your mind that need some work?
I know I experienced all these things and more, and you know what? That's okay. Because emotions are normal, the good and the not so good. We are designed to experience the full spectrum of human emotion, because joy wouldn't feel so good if we didn't also have pain.
However there is a difference between feeling your emotions and allowing your emotions to influence you.
Feeling emotions is the practice of acknowledging their presence and encouraging the energy of that emotion to move through and out of us without having it become a filter through which we make decisions and take actions.
If you find yourself overwhelmed by your emotions.
If you lock your emotions away so you don't have to feel them.
If you react emotionally, often later regretting your behaviour.
Come join me in this safe space to gain insights and learn techniques that you can use to safely process your emotions. We will cover the three elements of emotional processing to support you in shifting through and out of intense emotions.
Each phase will include techniques and tips on how to recognise and manage your emotion, there will also be an aligned movement experience for each phase.
Participants are invited to bring an emotion to work on. This workshop is interactive and participants will be encouraged to share their insights throughout our time together.
Emotional Processing will give you the knowledge and tools to safely work through your emotions. To notice them, feel them, understand them and release them. In doing this you will be empowered to choose actions and behaviours that align with the person you wish to be.
Everything you learn in this workshop you will be able to take home and use whenever big emotions arise.
Come and join me as we allow ourselves to feel fully.

Through the Emotion Processing Workshop, Eve created a welcoming environment where we could safely work through our 'tough stuff'. I came out of it with a better understanding of myself, and I am grateful.
Don't hesitate to go, even if you have worked through self-help resources before. The content is presented in a practical and unique way with new tools and concepts. Very worthwhile experience. ~ A.D
