The World Economic Forum has identified Emotional Intelligence in the Top 10 essential workplace skills required 2020 and beyond. If you would like to future-proof your career and learn how you can apply emotional intelligence in the workplace, join us for a series of modules designed to enhance your well-being, performance, and leadership effectiveness.



Emotional Intelligence Enhancement Program: The final module of four facilitated learning modules - each designed for delivery in a face-to-face 3-hour session. Between each session, participants complete on-the-job learning activities to practice and reinforce their learning. In addition, participants have the opportunity to complete a brief emotional intelligence survey to provide them with insight into how well they believe they demonstrate emotionally intelligent workplace behaviours in comparison to others.

Price listed is per module. Whilst it is possible to sign-up for specific modules of interest, our experience shows that participants who attend the end-to-end program obtain a greater depth of learning and application.



Facilitator: Simon Miller, South Island Manager, OPRA Psychology Group.

Simon works with leaders and individuals to enhance self-awareness, empathy, authenticity, and resilience. He is an accredited Emotional Intelligence master coach and facilitator; specialising in coaching and development experiences that shift mindsets and support personal transformation. Simon holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business and Administration and is in the final stages of a Masters of Business Studies from Massey University. Alongside this, he has worked across a range of industries for 20+ years in the fields of organisational development, training, and change management.



Module Four: Building Resilience

Productive Emotions = productive results! So how do you maximise and maintain productive emotions and best deal with and minimise unproductive ones? In this session participants:

1. Explore four categories of proactive emotional management techniques ( Cognitive, Relational, Physiological and Environmental) and identify ones they can use to build their personal resilience.

2. Learn a reactive technique they can implement to help them effectively respond to strong emotions when they arise.

3. Practice applying a model designed to help others find the best possible response to make in challenging situations.

Following the session participants put into practice the resilience techniques covered and apply the emotional influencing technique to help build positive emotions that drive high performance.
