Description

High-performing entrepreneurs are an important driver of Auckland’s economic performance. But who are they, what’s their journey and what do they need to succeed?

In November 2018, ATEED, in collaboration with Dan Khan, held an event to discuss and develop a shared, focused entrepreneurship agenda for Auckland. About 40 industry practitioners spanning education, investment, accelerators, corporates and government joined forces to better understand how we might collectively create a stronger, more inclusive environment for entrepreneurs to thrive.

The discussion produced many insights. We would now welcome your help to develop these insights into ideas for action.

As an active participant in the start-up and innovation community in Auckland, we'd love you to join us and other like minds for a follow-up workshop to re-imagine Auckland’s entrepreneurial opportunity.

Facilitated by the wonderfully talented design expert, Amy Cunliffe, the session aims to prioritise the themes identified in November and develop potential interventions for a step-change in Auckland’s entrepreneurial performance. The event will be hands-on, energetic and solutions-focused.
