Emerging Spatial Professionals is excited to announce the 2022 Mini Conference!

Following highly successful events in 2018 & 2019 (thanks Covid for 2020 & 2021), the return of the Auckland ESP mini-conference is back for 2022!

We have begun lining up some industry leading speakers to share their valuable professional experiences and advice on geospatial profession direction - see image below.

This year’s event will be held at the Ellen Melville Centre – kindly sponsored by Auckland Council - in Auckland CBD on Saturday the 2nd of April.

There will be talks given by experts in the Geospatial, Geography and Technology industries.

There will also be a series of lightning talks from Emerging Spatial Professionals members to showcase some of the work they have been doing. If you would like to submit a lightning talk please do so though this link: https://forms.gle/GYdhptZ6u23nUULZ8

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided at the event.

The Auckland ESP committee members are really keen to get out of towners attending the ESP Mini - Conference! We know it is a long drive and fuel prices aren't great these days so we have TEN $35 fuel vouchers for anyone travelling from outside the Auckland Council region. To claim your voucher, send an email to emergingspatialpros@gmail.com with your name and where you are travelling from. It is a first come first served basis and fuel vouchers will be given out at the Mini - Conference so register and email now to secure yours!
