The Hamilton Halo project was established in 2007. When it was first established tui were a rare sight in Hamilton. Now, 15 years later, tui are a common sight in the city and there is an opportunity to make changes to the programme that will better support other species back into the urban areas. Following a review of the programme by Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research, WRC are now moving to a phase two of the programme. Andrew will explain where this is heading and what other opportunities might be coming up in the near future.
