About this Event
Come on down to the Gloucester Green on the 10th & 11th of April 2021 for a day full of fun! Make sure to bring the whole family because there will be something for everyone!
Tickets include all you can ride on all amusements, rides & bouncy castles.
There will be bouncy castles, rides & amusements for all ages, coffee & food, local stalls + heaps more!

FAQ's
What do the paid tickets include?
The paid tickets include all you can ride on all of the rides, amusements & bouncy castles. There will also be a specific 'Under 5's' area for the smaller children. Adults are more than welcome to accompany their children in this area if need be.
What is the difference between a child and a student?
A child ticket is for children under the age of 16 and the student ticket is for those that are over the age of 16 and still want to go on the amusements and bouncy castles. People holding a student pass will get a 'all you can ride' wristband upon entry.
Do I have to get a ticket for my new born?
No, you do not have to get a ticket for your new born. They are free.
Will there be eftpos available?
Yes there will be! However, we do suggest bringing cash for the food stands and market stalls.
Will there be door sales?
Yes there will be, however these will be limited. So we suggest pre-purchasing your tickets to secure your spot on the day.
What will happen if there is bad weather?
We will be making the call if we have to cancel/postpone on the Thursday prior to the event (8th April 2021). So make sure you are RSVP'd to the Facebook event to keep up with all of the updates!
What will happen if we go into a higher COVID level?
As an events company, we are always on the lookout for any level changes and understand that the level system does have to change sometimes. If there is an announcement around this required, we will make sure to keep you updated on our Facebook event, so make sure to RSVP to keep up-to-date.
Can I smoke at this event?
No. This is a smoke-free & vape-free event. We please ask you to refrain from smoking and vaping in the event area. You may smoke outside of the event. If you need to leave and then come back, please consult one of our friendly team & they will be more than happy to get you a wristband so you an come back in.
Does my ticket allow me to come on both days?
No it doesn't. However, you are more than welcome to purchase a ticket for each day! We'd love to have you.
What is the 'Cantabrian Warrior'?
The Cantabrian Warrior is an obstacle course that is a part of the Family Day Out, brought to you by Event Hire & Placemaking at One Central. In the course, there will be multiple different obstacles that competitors will have to go through to make it to the finish line. These include, inflatable obstacle courses, archery, tyres, camouflage netting, crazy bikes, archery & more!
There will be 5 DIFFERENT CATEGORIES:
CHILDREN (BETWEEN 6-8 YEARS)
PRE-TEENS (BETWEEN 9-12 YEARS)
TEENS (BETWEEN 13-16)
ADULTS (16+)
ADULTS & CHILDREN, PRE-TEENS OR TEENS (as a team)
You can either be in teams of up to FIVE people, or you can compete individually! Itβs totally up to you!
You must be 6 or older to compete
Will there be toilets available?
Yes there will be. We will also have wheelchair accessible toilets available too.
Is there parking available?
There is a carpark right next to the event called 'The Good Spot' on the corner of Manchester Street & Gloucester Street, the parking will be $5.50 for the whole day, or $2.50 per hour. However, if there is no parking available in there, there is plenty of parking available around the city.
My child is 2-years-old. What do they get?
They will be able to have heaps of fun in the under 5's area with multiple bouncy castles and amusements that are more suited to under-5's. There will be a disco room with a DJ playing children's music for them to dance in. There will be paid face painting + so much more!
Can I bring a pram?
Absolutely! There will be plenty of room for you to walk around with your pram and places to park it if needed.
Can I bring my own food for my baby?
Yes of course!
Can I bring my own drink?
Yes you can, water and milk is fine. Other drinks will be available to purchase at the event itself.
Can I bring my own food?
We will have food available on site for all dietary requirements, so no need to bring your own!
Is my time in the event limited?
No, not at all! You are more than welcome to stay the whole day if you like!
Can I leave the event and then come back?
Yes, you can. You will just have to collect a wristband as you leave so you can come back in.
Is this a breastfeeding-friendly event?
Absolutely! We will have a designated area in the Under-5's area for breastfeeding & nappy changes. It will be a private area for your comfort.
Is this a dog-friendly event?
No it is not. We want to ensure the safety of everyone at the event, so please don't bring your doggo's along (even though we know they are probably super cute!)
