About this event
PROGRAM
Sam Knox our Arduino programming expert will take you through a series of step-by-step tutorials on connecting and programming your Arduino to enable you to build a system for your own electric vehicle.
Learn how to connect sensors, program the Arduino to pick up sensor signals and display values on the LCD screen. Programs will be built to enable power and energy usage to be calculated along with speed. If this is new to you, you won't be alone! Prior knowledge or experience is not necessary.

ARDUINO KIT
University of Auckland will provide free of charge a mother board with voltage and current sensors where you can plug the components in the component pack.
We will have computers with Arduino IDE installed so its not compulsory to bring your own devices however you can if you prefer.
We will provide the critical items in the component pack (Arduino, breadboard, LED, resistors) on loan for the day so you can attend the workshop even if you haven’t purchased a kit.
If you would like to purchase your own Arduino Kit these will be available on the day.
