Facilitators: Dr Antje Fiedler and Dr Benjamin Fath, the University of Auckland.
Dr Antje Fiedler is with The University of Auckland where she taught across on Masters, MBA and Executive education programs. Antje is a member of the New Zealand Asia Institute and the Director of the China Studies Centre of The University of Auckland. She is a member of the Academic Advisory Team of the Southeast Asia Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence.
Dr Benjamin Fath works at The University of Auckland Business School. He teaches courses in entrepreneurship and innovation, business analytics and international business on the MBA program. He has designed and facilitated many practitioner workshops on business growth in Asia.
Guest speaker: Tony Boot, Director at BTM Marketing Ltd
Tony is a graduate of the University of Waikato Business Management Studies department's International Management programme, specialising in Japanese & Marketing. After a brief stint as a tennis coach in Japan, he joined JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) in NZ, and looked after their marketing and product development. He established BTM in 1994, to assist New Zealand tourism businesses with their Japan market development. Today, BTM covers multiple international markets and business sectors. Clients include: Tourism NZ, NZTE, Education NZ, NZ Rugby, Icebreaker, NZ King Salmon, and many more. Tony has travelled to Japan 92 times, and aims to reach 100 once borders reopen again.
