Children will discover the power of kindness and fairness in this creative activity - Fairness Flowers – Growing a Kinder World . This inspiring programme blends history, empathy, and creativity in a way that’s both meaningful and fun. By exploring principles around equality and fairness they will learn about Kate Sheppard's legacy.

Starting off exploring Kate Sheppard House, their task begins by searching for hidden "Fairness Flowers" hidden in the house museum.

Then once completed they will create their own unique vibrant paper blooms decorated with messages of kindness, inclusion, and equality. Everyone's individual blooms will be "planted" in our 2-D community garden display showing how their own actions have the power to "grow" a more inclusive world.
