Meet the Owners events give members the opportunity to get an exclusive behind the scenes look into the workings of the diverse family business sector in New Zealand.
Join us on Tuesday 16th February at St Pierre's Sushi as the Katsoulis Family open their doors to the FBNZ community to experience a behind the scenes private tour of their family business at their brand new store in Panmure.
First-generation owners, Perry, Costa and Nick Katsoulis joined by the second generation will share how the three brothers opened the first St. Pierre’s store in 1984 in the city of Wellington, New Zealand - originally as a delicatessen and seafood store through to a world class organisation employing close to 900 employees across the whole of New Zealand.
In 1993 St Pierre's formed an alliance with one of Japans largest food exporters, The Tokyo Mutual Trading Company. They had been the pioneers of Japanese food in the USA. They provided superior cooking condiments and expertise to St Pierre's. From that time St Pierre's started to import all its own products used for making sushi from Japan, to make the most delicious sushi possible
This event is a great opportunity to join fellow family business members, network with other like-minded people and gain an insight in how other family businesses use their competitive edge to their advantage.
