We are thrilled to announce our esteemed guest speaker is Anna Nelson, Chair of Silver Fern Farms Co-operative. Along with her husband Blair (Munta) and their family, Anna operates a 1450-hectare sheep and beef breeding and finishing farm in Aria, King Country. Originally from Cheviot, Anna holds a Veterinary degree from Massey University. She currently serves as a catchment coordinator at King Country River Care and completed the Kellogg Rural Leaders programme in 2016.
Anna joined Silver Fern Farms Co-operative as a Board Appointed Director in 2021 and was elected as a Farmer Elected Director in 2023. In May 2024, following the Annual Meeting, Anna was appointed Chair of Silver Fern Farms Co-operative. Her extensive experience and leadership in the agricultural sector make her an inspiring figure for all attendees.
