First Aid Training - Christchurch

The First Aid Training course will begin at 8am and finish at 12pm.

• You MUST arrive at the location of the course by 8:30am to give yourself time to find parking and organise yourself prior to the commencement of the course.

• Ensure that you are wearing appropriate attire for the course – The course involves physical work, so wear something flexible; avoid skirts and baggy tops.

• Once signed up to the course and on the attendee list, you will be made unavailable on Alayacare for the day so that your coordinators can not book you for any shifts. If you are booked to work a shift the day of the training, we will inform the client and find a replacement for your shift.

• The course is paid for by Life Plus, however, if you do not show up, withdraw from the course 5 days prior to the course, OR if you are late and they do not accept you, YOU will be responsible for payment of your place in the course (deduction from your wages will be arranged with you coordinator).

• Once the training is complete, we will receive your qualifications via FACT Co. If you would like a copy of your certificate please arrange this with your coordinator or contact Mary-Jane Mechkova using the details below.

• If any participant is experiencing flu like symptoms they should not attend the training. The instructor may ask them to leave the training session for the safety of the group.

• If any participant has an injury that would prevent them from participating in the practical components of the course, please inform your instructor on the day of the course.

• The First Aid qualification is valid for two years from the date the training was completed.

• If you do not show up to the training and have not withdrawn from the course via the link provided to you 5 days prior to the course OR are late and then not accepted in, YOU will be charged for your place in the course.
