Event description

Description

Sometimes in a coaching session, as a coach, we might ‘get the feeling’ that the client is grappling with something in their thoughts – we can see it in their body language and we can hear it in their words and/or tone of voice, breath, pace. And yet, we gloss over it . Why do we do that?

This workshop we will spend time talking through what is going on for us as coaches when this happens and then move to how to strengthen being bold, curious and ask questions.

Moving ourselves to the state of flow and flourish in our coaching.

We’ll talk about

  • • How to reflect what you observe
  • • Asking permission
  • • How to deal when clients are upset
  • • How not to get lost
  • • Empathy …or compassion?

The focus is predominantly around Core competencies of Listening and Coaching presence.

Please come along prepared to take a deeper dive into ‘not knowing’ and being bold.

Bring your own experiences and lessons learned and any tools that you’d like to share.

If you have a short coaching issue around this topic and you’d like to be coached in front of the group, please email Gai direct on gai@coaching.net.nz
