Event description
Open your senses and experience your local park like you have never before. Connect with nature and yourself, share stories and tea.

About this Event

Forest bathing (shinrin yoku) is both fun and relaxing. Your guide i.e. me, Yaki, will help you slow down, open your senses, connect with nature, other participants and yourselves through a series of invitations, stories sharing and ending with a tea ceremony.

You will leave with a renewed perspective and practices you can apply in your daily lives.

To minimise disruptions to the group, full participation of the entire period is strongly recommended.

Dress comfortably, bring water, hat, sunscreen and insect repellent. Let me know if you have any dietary requirements.

Park along Richard Farrell Ave. Walk through Pukio Lane past the retirement home to reach Koraha Reserve (please be quiet and respectful to the residents). We will be meeting at the benches under the trees lining the footpath ahead.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time.

Participant no. will be capped at 10 to keep interactions close and intimate.
