Join The Press and Christchurch City Council to plant 5000 native trees in the former residential red zone and help mitigate your household's carbon emissions. The trees are part of a 10,000-tree donation from Trees That Count towards Ōtautahi Christchurch's campaign to become a National Park City.
All ages welcome. Parking will be limited so please consider cycling, walking or catching the bus (Routes 7 and 60 are recommended) to the event.
When: Sunday 3rd July starting from 9:00am.

What to bring:
- Spades and gloves if you have them - we will have a limited number available on the day
- Covered boots or shoes
- Bottle of water - a water station will be available on site for refills
Food will be provided at the end of the planting day thanks to Nestlé and Hellers.
